Alaisea Matai Montgomery Sunrise: September 7, 2023 | Sunset: May 8, 2024 Alaisea Matai Montgomery was born to Dana Jean (Howell) and Dion Lamont Montgomery in September 2023. Everyone who came in contact with Alaisea was struck by his pleasant temperament and could not resist commenting on his cuteness. He was always flashing his dimples with a deep smile that captivated everyone. But nothing compared to his laugh. He chuckled deeply like a grown man; his hearty laughter was so infectious. His intellectual capacity was well beyond his age. At just seven months old he could play a call-and-response game. In the morning if he woke up before his parents, he would blow raspberry sounds until he completely ruined their sleep. Alaisea would buck his eyes and focus until he could accomplish his little goals. With a monster grip, he held his bottle early and with precision could pull dog ears and ring doorbells. He had one true love, Gracie, from the animated kids' show, "Gracie's Corner." Alaisea was completely spellbound by Gracie as she entertained him with her singing, rhythms and beats, and dance moves that emphasized learning. While he will be missed, he will forever remain our sweet little baby. He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Saundra Montgomery, and paternal grandfather, Roosevelt Montgomery. He leaves behind his parents; maternal grandmother, Kelley Howell; maternal grandfather, Oliverio (Micaela) Diaz, Sr.; brother, James Fryberg; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
