Anita Marie Matta-Burnes

Anita was born November 16, 1953 in Toppenish, Washington to Andrew Matta and Genevieve Luke. Anita enjoyed beading, cruising backroads while listening to Motown and watching MeTV. She loved to spend time visiting with family and friends, especially her puppies. Anita is survived by her children, Carl Michael Burnes, Malachi Anthony Burnes, Mariah Adele Burnes, and Zachary Myles Burnes, and children that were brought into her home and knew her as mother. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Carl Michael Burnes, parents, Andrew Matta and Genevieve Luke, son Charles Mallory Burnes.

Services to be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 10 o'clock at the Muckleshoot Shaker Church.
