Barbara Berndt

It is with both sadness and celebration that we announce the passing of our mother Barbara Jean Berndt. She was born on September 23, 1944 in Tacoma, WA and passed on April 12, 2026 to her heavenly home. Barbara was raised in Enumclaw Washington. She worked extremely hard her entire life; in her free time she enjoyed her cats, taking a jog, spending time with family and traveling.

Barbara is survived by her children, Scott Reeves, Sydney (Richard) Kubisch, Robert (Becky) Ashley, Jodi (David) Allen; her grandchildren, Rachel, Jason, James Jr., Noel, Joel and Malachi; her great grandchildren, Jake, Wade, Riley, Addison and Amiyah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dayle and Mary Walters. Her generous spirit, humility, and compassion are reflected in the lives of those she leaves behind.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Buckley City Cemetery, adjacent to the Weeks Funeral Home in Buckley Washington. Please join us for a celebration of life immediately following the service at the home of Sydney and Richard Kubisch in Auburn WA.
