Buckley, Washington
It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart to announce the passing of Chad Allen Van Wieringen, born on January 28, 1970, in Enumclaw, Washington. Known to friends and family simply as Chad or when he was little, his brothers called him Chunk, he was a loving, adventurous, and loyal individual who touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a spirit that was as boundless as the sky and a heart as vast as the ocean. "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all," Helen Keller once said, and Chad lived his life to the fullest, embodying this sentiment every day.
Chad was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry and a previous volunteer firefighter. His adventurous spirit led him to engage in many outdoor activities. He loved hunting, fishing in the breathtaking landscapes of Alaska, and dirt bike riding. Chad also was a great softball player and would play golf when he had time to play with his brothers. Labor Day weekend was very special for him and his family, that was the weekend every year his family and friends would gather at Little Naches and create life time memories camping and having fun. Chad had a knack for telling jokes around the campfire and would laugh as hard as the rest of the campers that heard the joke. But above all, Chad was a family man. In the midst of life's adventures, his family was his compass, always guiding him home.
Chad is survived by his wife, Renee Van Wieringen, his mother Floydyne Van Wieringen, his brothers Mark (Debbie), Brad (Peggy), and Greg (Shawn) Van Wieringen. Preceding him in death was his father, Kenneth Van Wieringen and Niece Alisha Van Wieringen His memory will forever be cherished by those who loved him. He may have left this world, but his adventurous spirit, loving nature, and unwavering loyalty will never be forgotten.
As we mourn Chad's passing, let us remember and celebrate his life. A celebration of Chad's life will be held at the Buckley Eagles on Sunday, March 30th, 2025 at 2pm. We encourage you to share your memories and upload photos of Chad on the memorial page. These memories will serve as a testament to the beautiful life that Chad lived, reminding us of the man who made every day an adventure.
