Cheryl Lynn (Davis) Patch Obituary (1958

Cheryl (Cheri) Lynn Patch, age 58, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of the 6th of March, 2016. She is survived by her husband of nine years, Dan Patch, her children Aubren Johnson (Brent), DJ Dornbush (Karen), Rachel Walton (Kevin), Devon Travis (Eastin), and Joshua Dornbush, her step-sons Ren and Nigel Patch, her grandchildren Courtney, Collin, and Tyler Johnson, Elly, David, and Nova Dornbush, Adelaide, Miles, and Olivia Walton, Wesley, Liberty, and Palmer Travis, and her siblings Brad Davis, James Davis, and Tiffany Hahnfeldt. She is preceded in death by her late husband of 27 years, David Dornbush, and by her parents Gail and Lois Davis. Although she was young, she lived her life to the fullest and accomplished much. In addition to raising her children, she devoted her life to the arts and volunteer work, and she served on the City Council of Prior Lake, MN. Her most recent endeavors include serving as a board member of Harbor Wild Watch, volunteering as a youth mentor at Minter Creek Elementary School, and she very recently launched a promising new career as a realtor for Windermere Real Estate. Above all of these things, she would say her greatest accomplishments were raising her children with David, being a loving grandma to her 12 grandchildren, and building a new life and family with her high school sweetheart, Dan. She had a beautiful voice, a musical laugh, a heart warming smile; she was patient and kind to all who knew her, and firm in her faith. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
