Dewey Dean Cranford Obituary (1937 - 2022)

In Loving Memory Dewey Dean Cranford July 26, 1937 - January 31, 2022 The Renaissance Man Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather And a Friend to All Dewey was many things to many people. He lived with honesty, the highest integrity, fierce dedication to family, never being judgmental, and unconditional love. All were part of his family no matter how close or far away. A humble man, Dewey was very proud of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many others that were part of his "family", often sharing their accomplishments with others, never boasting about his own. With a toothpick in his mouth most of the time (he kept the tree industry going for sure!), Dewey was a farmer (just a hobby mind you with 250 cattle and other critters including pigs, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, oh my!), Gardener (a garden that fed the village), Fisherman, Story Teller (was fisherman mentioned!), Jokester (he really did have all his fingers) Hunter, Musician, Grand Master Domino Player, jack of all trades (fixer of all things and making difficult challenges look easy), mechanic (all knew to never move one of his tools from its spot or there would be a "conversation"!).
