Emmanuel "Luke" Loukas Obituary (1951

Emmanuel Loukas "Luke" Born in New London, CT on September 12, 1951 and passed away on October 5, 2016. During his late teens he hitch hiked around the country enjoying Woodstock and other events along the way. He was a Marine Pipefitter from his early 20's until 60 years old, when he retired. He worked at Electric Boat in Groton, CT until moving to Washington in 1979 to work at Tacoma Boat. He also worked at Marine Industries, Martinac, AKWA and Todd Shipyard. He is survived by his wife Beverly and 2 sons Jason and Shane of Vaughn; his mother and father-in-law Elizabeth and John; sister and brother-in-law Marie and Dimitri all of Old Saybrook, CT; and brother-in-law Bruce of East Haven, CT. He was preceded in death by his father and brother. Fishing was his passion. He would be out in his boat in Puget Sound most weekends until his health slowed him down.
