Girard Lee Burgess Obituary (1949

Girard L.Burgess aka Dard Burgess was born on December 16,1949. He passed away at the age of 65 on May 29,2015. He was a long time resident of the Key Peninsula,he also lived in Athol, Idaho for 16 years before moving back to the Key Peninsula in 2012. He was a Master Wood Carver, avid fisherman, a man with many talents. He enjoyed hunting and anything to do with the outdoors. He was a Vietnam War veteran and served in the United States Navy from 1971-1975. Dard is survived by his loving wife Kathleen of 33 years,son Brian Burgess,step son Richard Foutch,step daughter Charlotte Foutch,his brothers Phillip,Gary Burgess,his sisters Helen Burgess,Donette (Jim)Anders, his sister in law Lorraine Bell and Brother in law Mark Underwood. His grandchildren Alec,Andy,Joey,Keith,Sierra,Devin,and Summer. His nieces Sara Bell,Rachel,Emily,Virginia,great niece Veronica Bell, nephews Nick,and Timothy. He is preceded in death by his parents Gene and Donna Burgess,and brother Cecil.
