Greg Crandall

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gregory Lee Crandall, also known as "Buffalo," "Pork Chop,” or “Greg” to those who knew and loved him. Born in West Seattle, Washington on November 28th, 1959. Greg lived a life full of the kind of simple, heartfelt joys that make life worth living. A loving husband, a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a generous soul who welcomed everyone into his home and heart.
Greg spent his working years driving semi and dump trucks, topping it off as a heavy equipment operator for the county. This was a role he held with dedication and pride, proving that one man’s trash is indeed another man’s treasure! As an Eagle Scout and Sea Scout, Greg's dedication to service and adventure was evident. With many other positions under his hat, he hung up his well-worn work boots in 2016. His passions included football, skiing, cruising dirt roads, hunting, fishing, camping, back yard gator and mule adventures, activities he shared with his loved ones. He was a man who understood the value of the great outdoors and the peace it can bring to the soul along with a cold Bud Light and a few oysters!
Above all, what mattered most to Greg was his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Annette; his children, Karlee and Dylan; stepdaughters, Brandy and Michelle; Best big brother to Rob and Kari. Greg was also the proud grandfather of Devyn, Dakota, Harper, Morgan, Madison, and Cyrus. They will miss him dearly, but they will also cherish the joy and laughter he brought into their lives. Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Faye Crandall.
In true Greg fashion, we ask that you remember him not with tears but with laughter. To quote the man himself, "Life is too short to not drink a beer." He may have left this world, but his spirit lives on in each of us.
