Hazel Amelia (Grimm) Cornwell Obituary (1920

Hazel Amelia Grimm-Cornwell, 96, from Port Orchard got her angel wings on January 10, 2016 in Tacoma. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Hazel had touched throughout her memorable life. She was born on January 4, 1920 in St. Lawrence South Dakota to Roy Arthur Grimm and Ercell Celeste Crump-Grimm. Preceded in death by husband, Wayne Cornwell, and brothers, Alvin and Roy Grimm and her sisters, Marjorie Staggs and Gertrude Nadine Brauer. Survived by daughters, Sharon (Richard) Silvernale, Neda (Duane) Herbert, and Celeste (Michael) Stoll. Hazel had 16 Grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 22 great great grandchildren. Hazel was a lifetime member of Squares Steppers Square Dance club and danced for over 45 years. She spent many decades sewing and croqueting for her family and friends.
