J. Douglas Andrew Obituary (1957 - 2022)

J. Douglas Andrew, age 64, died February 27, 2022 at home. He was a longtime resident of Cumberland, but recently moved to Auburn. He was born November 16, 1957 in Stafford, Kansas to James D. & Betty M. Andrew. The Andrew family moved to Seattle from Kansas in 1962. Doug developed a love for mountains and trees. After moving to the Enumclaw area in 1973 he developed an interest in the history of the area. He loved digging for old bottles, finding antiques, painting mountain scenery, and creating beautiful wood carvings. Doug began his career as a logger at the age of 18 and for the past 20 years had his Square Deal Painting business, painting, landscaping, and helping others in need. Doug is survived by his significant other, Suzette Rogers; his son, Dan Andrew; his daughter, Chelsie Andrew; his mother, Betty Andrew; his brother, Les Andrew (Jeannette); and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father James (Jim) Andrew.
