Jowel Michael Lee Sallee Obituary (1965

Jowel Michael Lee Sallee passed away December 15, 2015 in Seattle, Washington after a battle with cancer. Jowel was 50 years young. He had worked as an Industrial Mechanic most of his life. Although born in Napa, California in 1965, Jowel grew up in Lyons, Oregon where he learned to love the outdoors. He returned to Napa in 1978, where he met his lifelong friends through school and work. He graduated Napa High School in 1983. Jowel would do anything he could to help his friends and family. He was also a very hard worker and worked for 16 years at the Napa Wine Company. In 2007, Jowel met his true love Shawna and they were married in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada in 2010. They decided to make a change in life and moved to Washington State in 2011. Jowel loved all the outdoor adventures Washington had to offer. Most of his days off would be spent four wheeling in his Jeep, listening to Hank Williams Jr, shooting guns, going fishing in his boat or hiking in the forest with his wife and dogs Bo and Gemma. He is survived by his wife, Shawna Sallee, stepsons, Robert Summers and Martin Summers, grandsons Travis, Jackson and Casey Summers, mother, Wanda Schiewek, sisters, Darlene Butler, Carlene Sallee, and Julie Francom Kelly along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Jerry Steven Francom and brother Steven Francom. There will be no services at this time.
