Leahnette Davis

–

Auburn, Washington

It is with both profound sorrow and immense love that we mourn the loss of our beloved Leahnette Inger Davis, known fondly as Leah, Nett Nett, and Cheeko to her friends and family. Born in Seattle, WA, on the 14th of November, 1971, Leahnette was a beacon of light whose life was an inspiring testament of resilience and grace. Her journey came to a close on April 10th, 2026, leaving behind a legacy that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.

Leahnette was a thoughtful and compassionate soul who found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was adventurous and courageous, unafraid to face the challenges life threw her way. Despite having a rocky lifestyle growing up and dealing with things that most people shouldn't, she held her head high, turning those lemons into lemonade. Leahnette was a hustler by occupation, always striving to provide for her family and help others. She had a penchant for arts, crafts, beadwork, dancing, and cooking, pouring her love into everything she created. Her proudest achievement was graduating from Muckleshoot Tribal College, but beyond her accolades, what mattered most to Leahnette were her kids and family.

In every aspect of her life, Leahnette embodied the verse, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me". (Psalm 23:4). She lived her life as a testament to this principle, demonstrating an unfailing spirit of someone who is fearless and strong and will stand 10 toes down for her loved ones.

Leahnette is survived by her children, Mychaelia Turner and Mareo Turner, her best friend Regina Berry-Blackburn, her sister Luana NelsonDavis, and her significant other, Michael Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Davis and Virginia Nelson-Davis. As her daughter, I, Mychaelia, can say that she was not just the the STRONGEST mom to me and Mareo, but also an incredible friend, mentor, and pillar of strength to everyone else.

A funeral service to celebrate Leahnette's life and legacy will be held on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, at 11:00 am PDT at Muckleshoot Pentecostal Church, 39731 Auburn Enumclaw Road Southeast, Auburn, Washington, 98092. As we remember and honor Leahnette's extraordinary life, we encourage you to share your memories of her and upload photos to the memorial page. Each story and picture shared helps keep her spirit alive, celebrating a life lived with love, courage, and an unwavering spirit.
