Lena Androff VAWTER Lena Vawter, loving mother, grandmother and aunt, passed away peacefully in her apartment at Harbor Place at Cottesmore in Gig Harbor, WA, on January 11, 2010. She was born in Ellwood City, PA, on February 8, 1918, to Angelo and Dorotea Calabria. She is survived by her daughter Shirley O'Morrow (John) of Gig Harbor, WA, son David Androff (Margaret) of Fairfax Station, VA, grandchildren Deborah O'Morrow Erickson (Tom) and sons Peter and Alexander of Anchorage, AK, Brian O'Morrow (Kristen) and children Emily and Daniel of Eagle, ID, David Androff, Jr., (Jill) of Phoenix, AZ, and Theresa Androff of Tallahassee, FL. Lena and husband, Kime, operated a number of successful restaurant businesses in Ohio and Florida. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kime Androff, November 28, 1980, and second husband, Wm. Dale Vawter, July 30, 1996 and all five of her siblings. Lena was a strong woman of faith who loved God, her family, cooking, travel and music. She especially enjoyed baking pies, cinnamon rolls and cookies for her family who she adored and who adored her. Lena loved the staff at Harbor Place who so warmly cared for her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial service was held at Harbor Place at Cottesmore on Monday, January 18, 2010.
