Lorayne Gordon Obituary (1924

LoRayne Gordon LoRayne Ruby Gordon, born October 20, 1924 in Webster, ND, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2010. She was married to Paul B. Gordon in 1946 and lived internationally with her husband and children in Lima, Peru and Tokyo, Japan. The family settled in the Pacific Northwest in 1958. LoRayne was a member of Peninsula Lutheran Church and the Horsehead Bay Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends. LoRayne dearly loved her family and will be missed by son, Dave (Sandy) of Gig Harbor; daughters Nancy (Earl) Labovitz of Arizona, Gayle (Randy) Livingston of Gig Harbor; grandchildren Richard (Karleen) Dirmantas, Jenny (Will) Schaefer, Blake (Britt) Livingston and three great-grandchildren, with one more on the way. Family members include her brothers Reuben, William and Ardell Johnson of MN; sister Mae Dee of WI, and sister-in-law JoAnn Starkey of LA. LoRayne was preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul in 1987. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, November 5th at Haven of Rest Funeral Home, Gig Harbor.
