Ronald Olson

Ronald “Ron” Olson passed away on October 13, 2026, in Enumclaw, Washington. He was born on August 11, 1943, in Tacoma, Washington, to Donald and Jean Olson and grew up in Federal Way.

Ron proudly served in the United States Army. In November 1964, he married his wife, Kathryn, beginning a life together that spanned nearly 62 years.

Ron worked for The Boeing Company before retiring at the age of 55. His early retirement gave him many years to enjoy the things he loved most, including gardening on the farm and spending time on the golf course. He called Enumclaw home for 52 years, where he enjoyed the simple pleasures of farm life and the time spent doing what he loved.

Ron will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for his years of service, his dedication to his family, and the many memories shared throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 62 years, Cathie Olson, and his daughter, Carrie Olson.
