Rosalind Huebner Obituary (1925

Rosalind Claire Huebner, 84, born the 5th of 12 daughters to Walter and Regina Austin also the 5th of the 12 to journey to heaven, on July 31, 2010. She was surrounded by loving family, at her daughter's home, Virginia Roberts', in Gig Harbor. Formally of Grand Forks and Oakes North Dakota, Rosalind was a member of Agnus Dei Lutheran Church. While working as a Relief Telegraphy Depot Agent, Rosalind was responsible for saving hundreds of soldiers' lives by preventing a head on troop train collision during WWII. Rosalind is survived by seven children, 20 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. Viewing will be held at Haven of Rest Funeral Home from 9 to noon on Wednesday August 4, 2010, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 3pm at Agnus Dei Lutheran Church.
