Servillano E. Lampa was born December 2, 1938 in San Nicolas, Pangasinan, Philippines. He graduated from Araneta University with a BA in Animal Husbandry and a minor in Agriculture.
Servy met Violeta in 1967, and after many of Servy's proclamations of love and Violy's hesitations, they finally began dating because Servy did not give up. He persevered and endured as he knew Violy was the love of his life. They were ultimately married in 1972 and moved to Guam. There they had two sons, Allan and Anthony. They moved to Washington state in 1981, where Servy worked as a mechanic for Hertz for 26 years.
Servillano Lampa was a quiet hardworking man, and a man of faith. He was a very crafty handyman, always wanting to fix things himself, and had a continuous list of do-it-yourself projects. He loved watching sports and working in his yard. But most of all he loved his family.
He was devoted to his lovely wife, he was a great role model to his sons, he was kind and generous with both his and Violeta's family, and he was an amazing grandfather. Servy's grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was always playing, laughing, teasing and tickling them. If he had a giant smile on his face you knew his grandchildren were near. Servillano lived a blessed life full of love, joy, family and friends. He will be missed and forever in our hearts.
After Servy's accident in 2022, the doctors only gave him a small chance to survive. Again, Servy did not give up and fought to stay alive for his family. His persistence is a testament to who Servy was--a man who has faithfully endured and persevered through many struggles and obstacles.
Servy is survived by his loving wife Violeta; sons Allan and Anthony and their wives Michelle and Vy Vy; and his grandchildren: Benjamin, Ava, Isaac, Xavyor, and Joshua.
