Sylvia Bernice (Danielson) Gaspard Obituary (1926 - 2019)

Sylvia Bernice Danielson Gaspard (Silva Bernes Danielson) was born on January 21, 1926 on a farm in Walhalla, North Dakota. Sylvia passed away on May 11, 2019 in Enumclaw, Washington. She was surrounded with love from her children, Allen Williams of Seattle, Sharon Sand of Enumclaw, Nancy Schmidt of Renton, Laurie Pelland of Snohomish, and in Loving Spirit Sandra Briggs of Santee, California and Chris Gaspard of Seattle. Sylvia is survived by one of her 13 siblings, Betty Mathison of Grand Forks, North Dakota. Sylvia has 15 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Sylvia moved to the Seattle area in 1951 and raised her family. She had a long career working for Boeing from 1953 until her retirement in 1982. After retirement in 1984 she and her husband Larry moved to Alger, Washington. This is where her longtime hobby and passion for doll-making bloomed along with her passion for gardening and flowers. In 2004 Sylvia and Larry moved to Enumclaw to be closer to family. Larry passed away in 2009. They had been married for 47 years. Sylvia always had a warm and fun-loving attitude about life and she passed that joy to all who were fortunate to know her. She will forever be in our hearts and souls, and we are so blessed to have had her as our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
