Teresa Ann Russell, affectionately known as "Gram," passed away peacefully on October 22, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on December 10, 1941, in Buckley, WA, Teresa lived an adventurous and fulfilling life, embracing every moment with love and laughter. Her compassionate spirit touched all who knew her, from her beloved family to her community in South Prairie, Washington, where she resided for 57 years. A dedicated postmaster for the US Postal Service, Teresa was known for her unwavering commitment and kind heart. In her retirement, she found joy in her many hobbies, from the thrill of bowling to the serenity of painting and fishing. Her days were filled with tending to her garden, volunteering at her church, and challenging herself with crossword puzzles, all while never missing an episode of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
Teresa's life was anchored by her deep faith and love for family, church, and friends. She was a cherished member of St. Aloysius, where her voice harmonized with the choir at every mass. Her loving nature and dedication to her faith were embodied in her favorite scripture, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want," reminding us of her trust in God's plan. This steadfast faith and her vibrant spirit inspired everyone around her, especially her loving husband, Lester Russell, and their close-knit family. Teresa is survived by her children, Paul Russell, Elaine Peck, and Aaron Russell; her grandchildren, Josh Russell, Evan Russell, Sarah Russell, Joe Peck, Megan Peck, Brandy Grannis, and Jordan Russell; and her great-grandchildren, Arlan Russell, Lucy Russell, Serene Johnson and Jocelyn Elizabeth Peck.
