Enumclaw, Washington

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Thomas Howard Hill, who left us on February 25, 2025, at the age of 69. He was a cherished son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 44 years, Mindy, along with their three children Annalise Hayes(Patrick), Ryan(Erin), and Jeremy(Jordan), four grandchildren Zoe, Thomas, Forrest, and Ellie, his three sisters, Denise Onorati, Lavonne Terkla, and Jeanna Hanson, as well as their spouses, and numerous nieces and nephews. His absence leaves a void that will never be filled, but his legacy of love, kindness, and wisdom will live on in all who knew him.

Tom was born in Seattle, WA on November 25, 1955. He attended Tyee High School and earned a degree at Whitman College. Tom was a man of integrity, compassion, and unwavering devotion to his family. He shared a deep, loving bond with his wife, Mindy, and together they created a life full of cherished memories. As a father, he was a constant source of guidance, support, and love to his children, and as a grandfather, he brought immense joy to his grandchildren. His heart was full of pride for them, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Throughout his life, Tom dedicated himself to his building maintenance companies, and he was known for his hard work, generosity, and the joy he brought to those around him. He had an infectious sense of humor, a gentle spirit, and always made time to listen and offer advice to those who needed it. His love and care were felt deeply by his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Tom found joy in many activities, including bowling, golfing, reading, biking, and solving crossword puzzles and Sudoku. He loved being a gentleman farmer and living in Enumclaw with his wife Mindy. Tom grew up in Seattle Seafair with his family. In 1990, he became Commandant and made many lasting friendships and memories through the Seafair organization. He was an involved member of Seattle Executives for over 20 years as well as BNI Group and made many close friends there.

In October of 2023, Tom made the meaningful decision to dedicate his life to Christ. He became a active member of Mt Rainer Christian Center where he had many friends and belonged to groups. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew them.

While we mourn his loss, we take comfort in knowing that Tom lived a life rich with love and meaning. He was a pillar of strength for his family, and his influence will continue to guide us as we honor his memory. He will forever be remembered as a man who gave everything for his family and left the world a better place through his kindness and generosity.

Tom’s memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 15th, 2025 at Mt. Rainier Christian Center in Enumclaw, WA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Mt. Rainier Christian Center or your favorite charity in his memory.

Rest in peace, Tom. You will always be in our hearts, and we will carry your love with us forever.
