Verdie Forsythe Obituary (1930

Verdie Iva Forsythe, 81, a Wollochet Bay resident since 1946, died November 19, 2012. Verdie's fond memories were of commercial fishing in Washington and Alaska with her husband and son during the late fifties and sixties. She retired as a retail clerk, but continued to develop and sell family properties on Wollochet Bay into her seventies. She enjoyed traveling with her sisters and grandchildren, along with gardening and beach combing. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene N Forsythe. Survived by her son Gene N Forsythe Jr and wife Barbara who still live on Wollochet Bay; two grandsons Matthew, Michael and wife Roslyn live close by with great granddaughter Madeline.
