Miles, born and raised in Enumclaw, has long been a constant in our community and the Weeks’ Funeral Home family. He joined the death care industry so long ago no one quite remembers the beginning; it has evolved from story into legend. Miles is a lot like that- a good story, a kind gesture, and always the lingering memory of it. It may be why his contributions to the funeral home are so important. He has a talent for putting others at ease, no matter their ills, and it helps that he “knows everyone”. He is giving, patient, and sincere. Often, he is found encouraging others to try his sun ripened tomatoes, the summer fruits he picked up in the mountains, or the squash he grows beside the funeral home. Miles has always been driven to feed people, to help them be nourished mind, body, and spirit. His efforts reach beyond the funeral industry too. He is an active member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, President of the Enumclaw Lions Club, member of the local Masonic Lodge, and an adopted member of the Muckleshoot tribe. Bring Miles a cup of coffee, share your stories with him, and let him work his magic on you.
